In addition to streamlining the NGE registration process, AATG has also reevaluated the late registration period, which in the past included an added fee for registrations submitted after mid-December.
Beginning with the 2026 Exam, there will no longer be a late registration period or late fees. To best serve teachers, schools, and students, exam registration will remain open until the last day of standard testing, January 25, 2026.
A make-up testing period will be offered again this year from January 26-January 31, 2026.

1) Check your AATG membership status. Login to your AATG account to confirm your membership status. If lapsed or not a member, you should join or renew your membership. Teachers who are not current AATG members, but wish to register students, must add the non-member sponsor fee to their NGE order ($95 non-member fee applies).
2) Register students for the exam on the AATG website. You must log into your AATG account to purchase the exams.
3) Follow the instructions on the NGE level you are purchasing. You will need to provide information about yourself, your school, and AATG chapter for each exam that you wish to administer. Additionally, you will select the quantity of exams you will be purchasing. If you don’t know yet how many seats you will need, select one for each level you know you will be administering and add more later.
4) After adding your exams to your shopping cart, double check your order. By registering for the NGE, teachers agree to pay for all registered exams and agree to our no-refund policy. Once you're ready to check out, select how you'd like to pay. An invoice will be automatically produced in your AATG account.
