Chapter Officer Resources

AATG has 56 local chapters which support a variety of local projects with activities focused on public relations, professional development, and teacher and student immersion. Each chapter and its officers are vital in helping achieve the mission of AATG. Chapter officers represent the association to local, state and regional AATG members. They are leaders in the profession who help teachers and their students at all levels of instruction to maintain and improve their skills, their programs, their enrollments, and their place in the educational community.

Chapter Officer Handbook

The AATG Chapter Officer Handbook is a reference guide for Chapter Officers to support them in their operations. We encourage all Chapter Officers to check out the content in this handbook. We will revise this handbook as needed, so check back annually to ensure you have the most up-to-date version on file!

Chapter Officer FAQs
Chapter Officers may access an up-to-date list of their chapter membership by  navigating to your member compass, and clicking on the tab “AATG Reports” in your account dashboard. After clicking on AATG reports, and clicking on your chapter's report, you will be able to access an up-to-date list of their members at any time. 

We ask Chapter Officers to please update AATG's National Office with any updates to their chapter officers by completing this form or by updating it in your member compass. 

To update your profile to add or remove a chapter officer position, please navigate to your member compass, click on "profile," and scroll down to "Chapter Information." 
AATG's website can build an event to can collect RSVPs and ticket fees for the event, taking a burden off the shoulders of the chapter officers. To get started on organizing an event on AATG's website, reach out to an AATG staff member sharing the details of your event and we will go from there!
