The American Association of Teachers of German (AATG) is thrilled to invite members to join us in Madison, Wisconsin from September 24-26, 2027 for our 2027 conference.

Join AATG for a conference filled with inspiring sessions, engaging workshops, networking opportunities, and festive celebrations. AATG will meet at the world renowned Monona Terrace Convention Center. We will begin accepting proposals on September 1, 2026. Submit a proposal here!

Interested in organizing a panel but looking for collaborators?

This year, AATG will offer an opportunity for members interested in organizing a panel discussion to connect with potential co-presenters. If you have an idea for a panel but are looking for colleagues to join you, submit your panel idea by September 30, 2026. Please email a proposed title, brief description, and your contact information to Rachel Halverson at rhalverson@uidaho.edu.

After September 30, AATG will share the submitted panel ideas with members, giving interested colleagues an opportunity to connect directly with panel organizers.

Participation in this networking opportunity is optional and separate from the formal Call for Proposals. Completed panel proposals must still be submitted through the regular proposal process by December 15, 2026.
