Brothers Grimm Haus of North America (BGHNA)
Please see exciting news from the Brothers Grimm Below!
Dear colleagues, friends, and fellow admirers of the Brothers Grimm,
I am writing on behalf of the Brothers Grimm Society of North America (BGSNA) with exciting news and an invitation. In partnership with Utah State University, we have established the Brothers Grimm Haus of North America (BGHNA)—a new hub for research, teaching, and public engagement dedicated to the Grimms’ legacy and to the broader fields of German Studies, folklore, and fairy-tale scholarship. Our official kickoff event will take place on March 25, 2026, when we will present our mission, our upcoming initiatives, and the Haus’ contributions to the study of the Brothers Grimm.
To ensure a strong beginning for the Haus, we warmly invite you to support us in one (or several!) of the following ways:
· Become a member of the BGSNA: Join a growing community of scholars, educators, students, writers and other enthusiasts of the Brothers Grimm. Membership link: https://www.brothersgrimmsociety.org/membership
· Make a donation to the Society or the Haus: This will help us decorate and maintain the Haus and support future events. Donations link: https://www.brothersgrimmsociety.org/special-donor-invitation
· Contribute books, materials, or other resources: In addition to financial support, we welcome donations of books, archival materials, or other resources relevant to the Brothers Grimm or folk- and fairy-tale scholarship. These materials will help build the Haus’ collections. Please contact the Director of the Haus, Prof. Claudia Schwabe at claudia.schwabe@usu.edu.
This is an exciting moment for the Society. The new Haus will allow us to expand our activities and develop innovative projects related to the Grimms and beyond. Your participation—whether by joining, donating, contributing materials, or simply spreading the word—will help ensure a successful launch this March.
Thank you for your support and for helping us carry forward the legacy of Jacob and Wilhelm Grimm.
Kind regards,
The Board of the Brothers Grimm Society of North America
