Establish a National German Honor Society Chapter
Honor Society Inductions
Please fill out and submit this form to establish a German honor society chapter for your respective honor society.
If you are interested in establishing chapters at multiple schools, please fill out a separate form for each school. Chapters are associated with institutions, not individual sponsors.
Once established, chapters are granted in perpetuity. No recertification required. If you are not sure whether your school already has an existing chapter, please e-mail logistics@aatg.org.
Coursework Requirements for Establishment of a Chapter
Junior Delta Epsilon Phi* is for middle or junior high schools (grades 5-8/9). Inducted students must take the equivalent of one full year of German courses.
Delta Epsilon Phi* is for high schools (grades 9-12). Inducted students must take the equivalent of three semesters of German courses.
Epsilon Phi Delta* is for community colleges. Inducted students must have completed the equivalent of one semester of German and be enrolled in a second-semester course.
Delta Phi Alpha is for colleges/universities. Inducted students have completed the equivalent of three German courses.
*AATG membership is required for sponsors.
