The American Association of Teachers of German (AATG) is thrilled to announce its 100th Anniversary Conference, a landmark event celebrating a century of dedication to German language and culture education.
Join us in Boston, Massachusetts, from July 11-14, 2026, at the Westin Copley Place1 for a conference filled with inspiring sessions, engaging workshops, networking opportunities, and festive celebrations.
This once-in-a-century gathering, held in partnership with our friends from the American Association of Teachers of French (AATF), will bring together German and French educators from across the globe to reflect on our rich histories, explore current trends, and, through its key focus on innovative pedagogical strategies shape the future of language learning. Get ready for an unforgettable experience filled with enriching professional development, exciting cultural events, and the chance to connect with colleagues from around the world.

What Your Registration Includes
- Access to all general sessions and concurrent sessions throughout the conference
- Attend the AATG Opening Sessions, Award Ceremony, and Keynote Address
- Attend the Exhibit Hall opening reception and all exhibit breaks
Your registration also entitles you to purchase add-on tickets attend ticketed meals, including the Welcome Luncheon, themed breakfast events, and our Centennial Gala.
To assist with travel approval and professional leave requests, we are pleased to offer an editable letter of invitation for the conference. This document can be customized and submitted to your administration as needed.
