Xperitas

The American Association of Teachers of German is partnering with Xperitas, who will provide grants and support programs to AATG members over the next three years.
 
As an organization that specializes in study abroad, Xperitas understands the transformative power that language learning and travel can have in the life of a student and knows that German is a critical language to support. Xperitas is a nonprofit organization founded by language teachers 50 years ago that works to plan language and cultural immersion programs abroad to a variety of countries in Europe and Latin America. Here is a brief video showing how Xperitas’ Family Stay Experience® in Germany transforms lives. 
 

Xperitas Language Matters Classroom Grant

AATG members who teach at high schools with demonstrated need are eligible to apply for $250 grants to support classroom expenses. Funds can not be applied retroactively, i.e. prior to approval of grant receipt. Applicants are asked to indicate their financial need and describe how they would use the funds to support work in their classroom. Grant recipients must submit a report by December 15, 2023 at the latest.
