Online Access to AATG Journals

 Full online access to both AATG Journals is a benefit of your AATG membership. The directions below will help you access your online subscription. If you have any questions about accessing AATG Journals, please contact us at michaela@aatg.org.

Registering as a new user

1.  Go to the AATG Member registration page on the Wiley Online Library site and complete the registration form. Once you submit the form, you may receive an email from wileyonlinelibrary@wiley.com with a code to verify your email. This may take 5-10 minutes to arrive in your inbox. If you already have an account, login as usual: https://onlinelibrary.wiley.com/action/societyMemberRegistration/AATGAATGAATG

2.  In the “Membership No” field, enter None. In the “Access code” field, enter YS00001450. 

3. You will be directed to your new Wiley account. Be sure to also fill out the information under "Personal Profile." 

4. You will know that you have full access to AATG journals when you see “Access by American Association of Teachers of German” on the top of the Wiley page. You may need to log in once more with your email and password to finalize your access.

5. Search “The German Quarterly” or “Die Unterrichtspraxis/Teaching German” in the search bar.

6.  Click the “Publications” tab in the search results page, and click on the journal. You now have access to the journal!

NOTE: You will only need to go through this process once. When you want to access the AATG journals online again, you will only need to go to https://onlinelibrary.wiley.com/ and log in. Access to the journals is linked to your account after you go through the steps above.
