You are the first to "share Germany" with your students—opening their eyes to the culture, the history, and the language that we all cherish. You dedicate your careers to creating opportunities for others to explore and understand the German-speaking world. As we celebrate the AATG’s 100th Anniversary, we believe it is time to turn the tables and create an opportunity for you.

We are thrilled to announce a special Centennial partnership with Condor Airlines*. Together, we are launching the "Share Germany with a Friend" giveaway—an exclusive chance for you to experience Germany not as a chaperone or a guide, but as a traveler sharing your passion with a companion of your choice.

How to Enter: We want to hear your dream itinerary. Simply click the link below and tell us: If you could bring a friend, partner, or family member to Germany, what would you show them and why?

Whether it’s a specific café in Köln, a hike in the Black Forest, or the Christmas markets of Nürnberg, we want to know how you would share your Germany with someone special.

This giveaway is our way—along with our friends at Condor Airlines*—of saying thank you for a century of dedication to German language education in the US. You share Germany with the next generation every day; now, let us help you share it with a friend.

Recipients will be notified by February 15, 2026.

Important things to know: 

  • Current AATG membership is required for the person entering this giveaway (but not for their companion).
  • Current AATG or Condor employees and immediate family members of anyone who is employed by AATG or Condor (i.e. spouse, life partner, parent, child, sibling) are not eligible to enter this giveaway.
  • Current AATG Board Members (as of 2026) are also ineligible to enter.
  • Two selected applicants will each receive two (2) premium economy airline tickets from Condor Airlines, valid from a departure airport in the US and Canada (NY JFK, Boston, Toronto, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Portland, Seattle, Vancouver, Calgary, Anchorage)
  • Airports serviced in Germany: Frankfurt, Munich, Hamburg, Berlin
  • Ticket validity: 01/01/2026 – 12/31/2026
  • Booking must be made through www.condor.com/us
  • No other travel support besides the tickets, such as travel insurance, transfer to the airport, or hotel bookings, is included in this giveaway.
