Chiann Tsui

Chiann Tsui coordinates the International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme at the German International School in Beaverton, Oregon. She received her MA and PhD in German Studies from Stanford University, and her research focused on the dynamics of cultural transfer, especially instances of cultural transfer between Germany and China in the twentieth century. Chiann has lived, worked, and studied abroad in Germany, China, and Macau, and she has found a new hobby in listening to German-language podcasts primarily centered around race and identity.
