Ph.D. in Foreign Language and ESL Eduaction, 15 years of teaching experience. I have taught at the elemenatry level at a bilingual school in Berlin, Middle and High School in the US as well as adults in Germany and the US. I have also coordinated exchange programs for 15 years, worked with international students in the US as well as the refugee population in the US and Germany.

Cultural Learning in an Exchange Program
Unparalleled language growth for students of world languages occurs when time is spent in one-on-one home stay experiences. Basing curriculum on this premise, the presenter will demonstrate successful pre-trip, during the stay, and post-travel activities that maximize the home stay experience.
