Keith Cothrun is the Executive Director of AATG. Prior to working at AATG, Keith was director of World Languages and Cultures for the College Board's Advanced Placement program with responsibilities for AP German, Chinese, Japanese, and Italian. He is a past president of AATG and ACTFL. More importantly, Keith taught for 24 years building a thriving high school German program and GAPP Exchange in New Mexico.

Jugendliteratur in the German Language and Culture Class
Participants will learn why Jugendliteratur belongs center stage in the German classroom. Learn how to choose texts that work well in a thematic-based curriculum, and develop pre-reading, reading, and post-reading activities that address the World-Readiness Standards for Learning Languages.
