BA from Wartburg College (Iowa), MA from Baylor University. I teach German 1, 3, and AP/IB 4 at Temple High School in Temple, TX. I currently serve as lead teacher for LOTE at our school, and am the southwest representative to the AATG Executive Council. Die Wise Guys im Deutschunterricht

Drama Techniques for the German Classroom
Participants will work with a variety of drama techniques that can be used in language instruction, including warm-ups, games, psychodramas, skits, and other techniques to fostering learning with all senses. Keywords: Teaching Strategies

This program introduces a variety of activities and techniques for using current feature films in German instruction, including introductory materials, post-viewing activities, and extension activities. Keywords: Film/TV

Learning stations provide an engaging, hands-on way for students to learn with all senses, and the technique reaches a variety of learning styles. Participants will try out a couple of station units and will work together to create a new learning station unit. Keywords: Teaching Strategies
