Gunhild Lischke


Gunhild Iris Lischke is Senior Lecturer in German Studies at Cornell University in Ithaca, NY. She teaches German, German Business Culture, and Language Pedagogy. For many years, she has been responsible for the education of graduate student instructors in German Studies. Her research interests include curriculum development, language teacher education and discourse analysis.

Understanding the Common European Framework of References for Languages
The Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR) as a curriculum tool is suited to accommodating students from various educational backgrounds and learning styles through its emphasis on reflection, collaboration and self-assessment.
