German Day at Brigham Young University
The German Day fair provides a long-term incentive for German students to excel as they prepare throughout the year for the fair. The fair also provides a cultural experience through the Kleindeutschland midway and a variety of activities.
German Day at the University of Michigan
German Day, an annual event sponsored by the Department of Germanic Languages and Literatures at the University of Michigan, attracts high school German students and their teachers for a day of competitions and fun.
University of Illinois, Chicago High School Day
Each spring the Department of Germanic Studies hosts High School Day at UIC. German teachers and students from throughout the Chicago area participate in various language competitions and games, and visit classes.
Rocktoberfest! Live Music and Dance Event
AATG Member Kim Hotze, German teacher at Marquette High in Chesterfield, MO, and her colleagues in the Rockwood School District were facing program cuts. Their solution? Rocktoberfest, a community-wide dance and music event.
Texas German Contest
