FakeTweets from Fictional German Characters Contest

What would your favorite fictional characters from German-language literature have to say if they could tweet? Mephistopheles, Schneewittchen, Emil Tischbein, or perhaps Claire Zachanassian or Gregor Samsa? How would they react to contemporary times? What clever thoughts would they share—in 140 characters or less?

We're happy to bring back our #AATGAprilscherz FakeTweets contest for a third year, with a new focus. #FiktiveFiguren.

It’s easy to enter our FakeTweet contest. Just imagine what a fictional character from German-language literature would tweet and submit your entry using the form below—in German or English—any time before Thursday, March 23. You can enter as many times as you wish — and your students can, too!

Between March 24 and noon (EDT) March 31, return to our site to vote for your favorite #FakeTweet, and on April 1 we'll announce the top ten Fake Tweets from Fictional Characters on Twitter. Follow the announcements under #AATGAprilscherz.
