 National German Week is October 2 through 8  and there's something to celebrate every day! Each day has its own focus from German language and German-American heritage to modern connections between Germany and the US.

Kick off National German Week 2017 with Schwarz-Rot-Gold Day! Remind your students to wear their Schwarz-Rot-Gold on Monday.

Tuesday is the Day of German Unity / Tag der Deutschen Einheit. Commemorate the anniversary of Germany's 1990 reunification.

The first annual National TEACH GERMAN Day will take place Wednesday. To help you celebrate, we have many online resources on our TEACH GERMAN Day website.

Famous German-Americans Day will be celebrated on Thursday. Contributions from German-Americans are everywhere you look!

Friday is National German-American Day, a day which honors the 1683 arrival of the first German settlers to the US.

German and American business ties are important in today's global economy  celebrate Business Connections Day on Saturday.

Finish off this exciting week with German-American Culture Day on Sunday! Take time to celebrate all the things shared between our cultures.
