What would your favorite fictional characters from German-language literature have to say if they could tweet? Mephistopheles, Schneewittchen, Emil Tischbein, or perhaps Claire Zachanassian or Gregor Samsa? How would they react to contemporary times? What clever thoughts would they share—in 140 characters or less?

You can enter our Fake Tweets from Fictional German Characters contest and your students can, too! Submit your entry here in German or English anytime before Thursday, March 23. You can enter as many times as you wish.

Between March 24 and midnight March 31, return to our site to vote for your favorite FakeTweet, and on April 1 we'll announce the top ten Fake Tweets from Famous Musicians on Twitter using #AATGAprilscherz.

Join the fun!
