AATG announces the publication of its new resource to support the instruction of STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math) subjects in the German curriculum Teaching STEM in German.

Teaching STEM in German includes a rationale for addressing science, technology, engineering, and math in German along with a curriculum framework which overlays STEM Standards of Practice with the World-Readiness Standards for Learning Languages and the NCSSFL-ACTFL Can-Do Statements: Progress Indicators for Language Learners.

The publication also includes instructional examples and units on Was ist ein ökologischer Fußabdruck? and Mathematik anders gesehen. Additional chapters address Using Crime Scene Fiction for STEM and resources for a STEM-Unit for AP German. 90-page PDF on CD. Special member price $20. Order now in our store.
