Students returning from the AATG Summer Study Program in Germany this summer had a lot to say about the program, but one thing is clear: Time in Germany is a life-changing, enriching, motivating, and tremendously fun experience!

Students traveled in small groups with their American chaperones to course sites throughout Germany, where the German course director, a teacher at the local Gymnasium, had planned an exciting and fun trip for their three-week stay.

Nick, who traveled to Wiesbaden, said it was the best three weeks of his life, and Paul, who traveled to Brandenburg an der Havel, said it helped him to decide that he wants to continue his studies at a German university.

There are many things to love about studying abroad in Germany in the summer: Madison, who traveled to Beilngries, made a life-long connection with her host family, while Jeff, who went to Markkleeberg, said he loved the opportunity to have free time with a flexible, not-too-strict schedule.

If you or your students are interested in an educational, homestay abroad experience in Germany in summer 2015, contact Program Coordinator April Hemphill. You can also find more information on the program on the AATG Website.
