German Means Green Immersion Workshop in Washington, D.C., November 1

A Saturday immersion workshop for high school and college students and their teachers
brought to you by AATG Maryland/DC Metro Area.

Was? A day of FUN, learning about green technology in full German immersion from
international German companies and networking with other German students
combining German with STEM fields. Cost is $10 per person

Wo? Catholic University, Washington, D.C.

Wann? November 1, 2014, 10:00 am – 4:15 pm

Wer? German students (High School level 3 and up, college level A2 and up) and their

Wie? As part of the event there is a video commercial contest to earn $400 for your
German Club!
Students can work alone or form small groups and shoot a one-minute
German-language video commercial on their choice of one of the
following two topics:
1. Promote “green” activities in your community or school!
2. Encourage fellow students in a school/community recycling program!

Submissions and registration are due October 1, 2014.

The films will be evaluated by a jury and screened at the event.

Since November 1st is a Sunday, I checked the local website for more details. The event seems to be happening on Saturday, November 7th from 9:30-3:30. Here is the flyer:
