2019 National German Exam Study Trip Award Winners and Endowment Fund Scholarship Winners Announced

AATG is pleased to announce the recipients of the AATG-PAD Study Trip Award from the 2019 National German Exam.

Study Trip Award I winners (non-seniors) receive round-trip air transportation to Germany, live with a host family, attend classes at a Gymnasium, and participate in excursions to places of cultural and historical significance. 39 students were selected for this honor. Honorees are 
Xenaira Arguedas, Avery Bivens, Violet Burns, Angelique Charles-Davis, Kushal Chattopadhyay, Julie Chen, Giselle Cook, Kruthica Dama, Helen Frank, Lucas Gascon, Renae George, Theodore Gifford, Branden Goromaru, Eleanor Graves, Roslyn Hall-Wurst, Atticus Henry, Claer Jestin, Isaac Jones, Elizabeth Klotz, Megan Li, Madeleine Mayer, William Menken, Teagan Mitchell, Jonah Parkes, Abigail Poland, Margaret Samonds, Ekartha Sharma, Jacob Slabosz, Olivia Stoner, Liana Szabo, Raymond Tao, Haley Turner, Luiza Vazquez, Kai Waddell, Sophia Watson, Emma White, Owen Williams, Benjamin Workman, and Annabel Zhao.

Study Trip Award II winners (seniors) receive round-trip air transportation to Germany. In addition to a two-week school and homestay program, students attend a special international program in major cities across Germany. Recipients are 
Benjamin Gleason, Lucia Herdelin, Talia Kessler, Matthew Kotz, and Patrick Remke.

Helene Zimmer-Loew Endowed Scholarship recipient Jada Blessing and AATG Endowment Fund Scholarship winners 
Jennie Gao, Caledonia Grant, Quinn Hornback, John Manneschmidt, and Ailill Smith receive full scholarships including international airfare to participate in the AATG German Summer Study Program for High School Students, a three-week homestay program. Chapter nominees who were not selected to receive the AATG-PAD Study Trip Award or Endowment Fund Scholarships have been offered a partial scholarship to participate in the AATG German Summer Study Program.
