The 21st Annual Colloquium on International Engineering Education: Pathways to diversified and sustainable programs

November 1-2, 2018
Newport, Rhode Island

The 21st Annual Colloquium on International Engineering Education will feature several sessions that are highly relevant for German faculty who want to integrate STEM perspectives into the German language classroom.

The breadth of information featured in the program includes sessions on all aspects of building curricula across the curriculum, integrating STEM perspectives into the FL classroom, languages across borders, industry engagement, International Cafes and keynotes with German industry, internship sourcing and to study/work abroad preparation, German alumni panels and more.

On November 2, parallel events will include the DAAD Deutschlehrerausbildung and Goethe-Institut Career DayGerman faculty members who would like to attend the DAAD Deutschlehrerausbildung with STEM focus, please contact Niko Tracksdorf and Karina Lammert. On November 3, a German-STEM Immersion Day for high school students and teachers will take place. 

If you're interested in attending the Colloquium but need to appear on the program to get support from your institution, there may be a possibility to serve as a moderator for certain sessions. Contact Sigrid Berka for details.
