Our AATG Workshop/immersion will be held on September 15
th at Butler University in Indianapolis. This year's theme is: The Indiana Certificate of Multilingual Proficiency with the afternoon devoted to teaching Strategies.  

Oktoberfest will be held on Monument Circle on the 14
th, so make plans to spend the weekend (with a local AATG friend).

Our workshop is going to be awesome! Please join us at Butler University in Indianapolis on September 15th. Each teacher will leave with materials for classroom use!
The Polka Boys will be playing at the Oktoberfest on September 14th, so come spend the night. Host families are available.

A documentary about the Be-troit Project by Philip Halver. Olad Aden, Veniece Session and young artists in person for a performance and Q & A.

Be-troit Performance Poetry. This project between Detroit and Berlin is an international exchange literature project with a focus on contemporary performance poetry. It takes up impulses of poetry, Spoken Word, Slam Poetry and Rap from Detroit and Berlin. Building on specific local traditions these art forms mix literature, music, dance and visual arts.

The Indiana Chapter of the AATG would like to express it's sincere condolences on the passing of Dr. Lathrop Johnson, Ball State University.  Dr. Johnson leaves a lasting legacy in the students he taught and the lives he touched.
