Professional Bio
Tobias joined the Department of World Languages & Literatures at the University of Wisconsin Stevens Point as Assistant Professor of German and Applied Linguistics in 2006. Currently, he holds the rank of Full Professor. He teaches German language, language teaching methodology, culture, and linguistics courses and also coordinates the foreign language teacher education program. His passion for teaching second languages and serving as a cultural bridge between the US and Germany includes raising an inquisitive bilingual daughter.
