DAAD/AICGS Fellowship Program

AICGS is now accepting applications for the DAAD/AICGS Fellowship Program, sponsored by the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD). The DAAD/AICGS Fellowship Program is designed to bring scholars and specialists working on Germany, Europe, and/or transatlantic relations to AICGS for research stays of two months each. The application deadline for spring 2013 (January 2013 - June 2013) is August 31, 2012.

Top Ten International Master's Programs at German Universities

DAAD and Der Stifterverband für die Deutsche Wissenschaft (Donors' Association of German Science) have singled out the ten best international Master's programs at German universities. Each of the programs will receive an award of 20,000 euros as well as the label "Top 10 International Master’s Degree Courses made in Germany". The award ceremony will take place on December 1 at the Haus der Deutschen Wirtschaft in Berlin.

Summer Grants from the Max Kade Center at Washington University in St. Louis in 2012

--Two DAAD Grants (Euro 2.500 each, which is about $3.500 depending on the exchange rate) for U.S. or Canadian professors of German (all levels) or dissertation candidates working in the field of contemporary German literature to do research in the Contemporary German Literature Collection at Washington University’s Olin Library.
