Tips and ideas for encouraging students and promoting your program on social media.

Twitter. Follow @AATGOnline to stay up to date with language education, learn about scholarship opportunities, or build a network of German teachers.

Challenge yourself to share a TEACH GERMAN story in 140 characters or thread your story throughout the day with multiple tweets. Tag us @AATGOnline or use hashtag #TeachGerman.

Tweet to senators and US representatives as well as state and local officials.

Facebook. Add our Facebook Frame to your profile pic and let everyone know you’re celebrating Teaching German. Share a “Why I teach German” story as your status. Tag a future German Teacher in a status update, don't forget that you can tag others with the @ symbol and their name @AATGHQ.

"Like" the AATGHQ page to stay up to date with language education, learn about scholarship opportunities, and build a network of German teachers.

Instagram. Post a picture of the great things you and your students are doing in your German program! Use #teachgerman and tag @aatgonline.
