Level 1 Non-Member Registration

Want to become an AATG member? If you wish to avoid paying the $80.00 NGE registration fee, you can join AATG now.

Registration for the Level 1 Exams begins February 1, 2016 runs through March 15.

The late registration period runs from March 16, 2016 to April 15, 2016. A $30 late registration fee applies.

You are about to register for the NGE as a non-member of AATG. An $80.00 NGE registration fee will be added to your registration. You can register your students for the Exam online in three easy steps. To get started, visit the registration page, available in 2017.

Step One - Provide Teacher, School, and Student Information
Enter your name and email address along with school information. If there is more than one German teacher at your school, each teacher must complete the online registration.

Then enter the first and last name and grade level for each student taking the Exam. You can also register students by uploading a spreadsheet saved as a .csv file. The first two columns must be labeled "First name" and "Last name". After uploading the .csv file, enter the grade level for each student.

Step Two - Review and Confirm Registration
Check the information you've entered. To make changes, click "Make changes" at the bottom of the page. To complete your registration, click "Submit Registration".

Please note: After you submit your order, you may still register additional students, change the exam level for a student, or replace the name of one student with that of another before the Exam is administered.

Step Three - Paying for the Exam
After submitting your registration, you will be directed to a page with your NGE Registration Confirmation Number. To complete the registration and ordering process, go to Enter the total number of exams ordered, and your Registration Confirmation Number and click “Add Item”. You must also add the Non-Member Sponsor Fee to your cart. Proceed to Checkout. Provide required information and select payment type. Click “Credit Card” or “Check/Money Order” if paying by check or PO. Click “Complete Order” to access a receipt or invoice.

You will receive an email with your NGE username and password along with details for Exam administration on March 16, if you register by March 15. See the NGE Calendar for information on when you will receive usernames and passwords if you register after March 15.

If you would like to register additional students after receiving your NGE username and password, you may do so by following the directions outlined in the Administration Manual.
