Are you interested in attending your first AATG/ACTFL Convention? Apply for funds to join us in Nashville at the AATG/ACTFL Convention from November 17‒19, 2017.
AATG members may apply for a stipend of up to $750 to cover registration and other costs. Ten stipends will be awarded. These professional development grants are made possible by contributions to the Friends of AATG Endowment—another great example of AATG members supporting one another.
This convention brings together thousands of teachers, administrators, method instructors and students of foreign languages at all levels. Over 700 sessions are offered on a wide variety of topics, including language instruction, assessment, literature, curriculum development, culture, and advocacy for German. Visit the exhibit hall to see the latest textbooks, materials, and instructional technology. Come, network with colleagues, share ideas and teaching tips in Nashville.
To qualify, you must be a member of AATG who has not previously attended an AATG/ACTFL Convention.
To apply, complete the form here, and upload your current resume or curriculum vitae and a letter of application with a description of the benefits of this professional development opportunity. The deadline for application is August 1, 2017.
