Do you know any young journalists looking for an exciting research and practice-oriented opportunity in Germany?

The Fulbright Study/Research Grants for Beginning Professional Journalists combine both theory and experiential learning. Grantees will spend the first few months studying and conducting independent research, followed by one or more internships or guest journalist positions at German newspapers, publishers, or television and radio stations. All journalism areas, including photo, print, and broadcast journalism, as well as electronic media, will be considered.

Applicants should be beginning professional journalists or recent graduates in journalism or related fields with no more than seven years of professional experience. Previous exposure to Germany is welcome. The grant period is 10 months, September to July. Grants begin in mid-September (or in August if an additional language course is offered in Germany). You can find more information here.
