Help AATG acknowledge outstanding achievement by nominating a distinguished scholar to be an Honorary Member or Honorary Fellow, AATG's highest recognition.
We want to identify nominees for Honorary Member who are "recognized scholars of international stature who have contributed to the advancement of Germanic studies in the fields of literary studies, literary criticism, linguistics, second language acquisition, or pedagogy." We would be happy to consider distinguished members working in K-12 education.
Nominees for Honorary Fellow are "men and women of letters" who may be "distinguished scholars or professionals in German studies fields outside language and literature; or they may be creative writers or essayists."
You'll find details here, including previous honorees in each category. Nominations must be submitted by September 1, 2014.
