Join colleagues at a networking session for college, community college and university faculty at the Northeast Conference!
The session will focus on curricular reform at the undergraduate level. Peter Höyng, Chair of the German Studies Department at Emory University and co-author of this year’s Freeman Award winning article, “Overcoming Curricular Bifurcation: A Departmental Approach to Curricular Reform,” Die Unterrichtspraxis/Teaching German (Spring 2013), will start the discussion with an overview of the process by which Emory’s department engaged its faculty in reform. Dennis Looney, the newly-appointed head of the ADFL and director of programs at the MLA, will moderate the session.
The session will take place on Friday, March 28, from 2:45-3:45 p.m. in the Vineyard room of the Marriott Copley Place Hotel.
