Austrian Seminar: Klischee und
July 7-19, 2014 in Salzburg
Join us for this engaging two-week seminar in
Salzburg! K-16 teachers have the opportunity to identify, explore and analyze
the many clichés and stereotypes about Austria. Participants will look at
language, literature, music, and film to develop a deeper, more sophisticated understanding
of Austria and Austrian culture--with a focus on how to bring Austria to the
KoPrA Seminar: Kompetenzentwicklung der Kommunikationsstrategien,
Präsentationstechniken und Aussprachetraining - Deutsch als Fremdsprache in
Theorie und Praxis
July 6 - August 2, 2014 in Leipzig
Specially designed for K-16 teachers and pre-service teachers with Intermediate High proficiency in German, this four-week immersion experience at the Herder-Institut at the University of Leipzig will focus on developing proficiencies to meet Advanced Low teacher certification requirements. The seminar will explore development of language proficiencies, communication strategies, and presentation techniques.
