Welcome to the

Indiana Chapter of the AATG

The Indiana Chapter of the American Association of Teachers of German is committed to supporting it's teachers in providing a safe community to continue their pursuit of learning and sharing their skills.  As teachers, our ultimate goal is to help our students become life long learners.

Attention German Teachers,

Your support is needed! If you are a teacher but not an AATG member, please consider becoming a member. You can join at

The AATG sponsors many programs for students and teachers both here and abroad and also provides many teaching materials at low cost to members. National AATG dues are returned in part to our state for various chapter activities. They are our only source of funds for supporting local, Indiana Chapter projects, such as the annual Immersion Weekend and special events, such as Staatskongress - the annual convention of the Indiana Association of Students of German (IASG).
