2009 AATG/ACTFL Annual Meeting San Diego, CA November 20-22Deadline for planned sessions: December 5, 2008* *Some session organizers may accept proposals later. Please contact them directly. Deadline for open proposals: January 9, 2009Welcome to the AATG Annual Meeting call for papers Web site. We have an extensive list of specific sessions already planned as well as the familiar general call for papers. Recognizing the need for dialogue and collaboration between teachers of German at all levels, the planning committee hopes that this new format will bring together teachers and scholars of language, business, applied linguistics, SLA, culture, film, and literature--all motivated by a commitment to pedagogy and eager to showcase and inspire the innovative and resourceful teaching our profession requires. The planning committee is hopeful that AATG members and members-to-be will readily find a home for their paper proposals among the sessions already formulated. At the same time, the program committee is happy to consider proposals for additional sessions, especially in areas not already covered.
