5 or 10 months: Learn about German life, people, and language while living with a German host family; starting in August 2008 for High School students & graduates, especially designed for students of AATG members. - iE – international Experience, a non-profit student exchange organization, offers high quality academic year or semester programs in Germany.
- American students live in carefully selected host families and attend German Secondary Schools – no pre-departure visa required.
- iE offers professional assistance with the host family as well as with the secondary school
- Bi-lingual schools (German-English) are also available upon request.
- iE arranges direct exchanges: the German student comes to the USA for the same length of time as his/her American counterpart, who will enjoy a safe and challenging experience in Germany with a host family.
- iE-local coordinators in Germany are long-time NASSP members, many of them retired headmasters who guarantee a highly educational impact and the positive exposure to the German culture.
- One of the benefits of our cooperation with AATG is the reduced program fee for excellent High School students of German, recommended by their local AATG member.
