http://www.mygermanfoods.org

We proudly present our completely redesigned and improved web space for students and teachers in the United States, Canada and Germany. We invite you to explore this new web-based information and communication platform which aims to provide in-depth information on food and healthy eating habits, as well as agriculture and culinary culture. You will also find useful tools for the classroom like our extensive English-German glossary of food-related terms and materials for developing course materials. Like germanfoods.org this website is free of charge and completely commercial-free. Although MyGermanFoods.org is targeted specifically toward US and Canadian schools with German language programs, any school can benefit from its content. Ultimately, our vision is for this website to become an interactive platform which will thrive through contributions of students and teachers from all over North America and Germany. Our hope is that students and teachers alike will use this new website to exchange information, work on joined projects and help each other with vocabulary and curriculum development.

GLOW image

The German Language Opportunities Web site (GLOW) is a web-based initiative to create an interactive database and ongoing census of professionals in the fields of German. Its purpose is to promote communication among (and within) AATG chapters and to present a united front to the public. It offers an opportunity to individuals who are seeking employment to advertise themselves to the public.

Join your colleagues who've already registered by logging on to the site! As soon as a significant number of AATG List Subscribers have registered, the AATG (national) office can begin advertising GLOW to the public more actively. Please help promote the project. GLOW is a grass-roots project of volunteers. If you help spread the word about the free service to all German professionals, prospective students and the public, not only will you be helping yourself but also the profession.
