Digital DeutschHaving trouble finding the right image for your German class? Tired of waiting for high quality images to download? Do you need images that are legal to use in your classroom, on your web site, or for German club?

Digital Deutsch: Volume 1 provides the solution! The first DVD-ROM in a series, edited by Michael R. Shaughnessy of Washington & Jefferson College, is funded by StADaF and Goethe-Institut, and published in cooperation with the AATG.

This DVD-ROM provides over 2500 high quality digital photographs from the German speaking world. They are license free for German teachers, meaning you can put them on your web site, use them in your curriculum, print them up in poster form and hang in your classroom, use the images for German club, print the images on shirts, or use them in many other ways.

All of the digital photos are high quality, authentic, and are organized by topics (from Art/Architecture, Banking/Money, to Sports/Games, Telecommunications, and Transportation). This offline resource provides thousands of images for the German teaching community to spruce up instruction with high-tech, authentic material.
