Start planning now for your annual National German Week Celebration, September 30-October 6.  Join other members of your AATG Chapter and colleagues in neighboring towns and the German-Austrian-Swiss-American community to support this week-long celebration which includes German-American Day (October 6).  Many of you have marked this important day for years and now you have an opportunity to expand those activities to a full week and go beyond just your classes and educational institutions.

You can begin by ordering the National German Week (NGW) Packet.  Thanks to the Nebraska AATG chapter, it contains sample proclamations, press releases, and announcements, activities, a quiz on German-American immigration, a list of famous German-Americans, and contacts and Web sites.  In addition, we have a collection of sample stickers, brochures, a pen, a button, a poster, and a balloon.
