National Junior German Honor Society for Middle or Junior High School Students of German

The American Association of Teachers of German, Inc., proudly announces the founding of Junior Delta Epsilon Phi, a National Junior Honor Society for Students of German, in accredited middle or junior high schools, public or private.

Join the 41 chapters that have already been established!

To establish your own Honor Society, the following criteria must be met:

• Only accredited public and private middle or junior high schools are eligible to have chapters.
• Sponsors of chapters must be teachers of German and members of AATG.
• Sponsors from accredited middle or junior high schools shall apply to AATG for a Chapter Charter by submitting a request on official school stationery (there is no application form) and shall pay a one-time fee of $10 (check payable to AATG must accompany application).

• To be eligible, students must have completed one year of German and attained an overall average of 85% and a German grade of 85%.

Upon affiliation you receive a Kapitelurkunde and a Chapter Handbook.
